The headline of your average news article is little more than a link highlighted in a phishing email. Begin to engage in any way, and you open yourself up to underlying and embedded ideas seeking a conscious entrance to then control you from within. We live in contaminated times. An ideological virus lurks everywhere and spreads itself through a sense of urgency. Click this belief, so much depends upon it!
Question: How do hackers gain access to your computer? They reach out with urgent, time-sensitive requests. How does a news headline grab your attention? The same way. Something else gets in your head, though, something orchestrated. Inevitably, some idea has been implanted that spreads itself one manipulated confirmation at a time until you become a tree producing fruits absolutely contrary to your nature.
Friends, our brains are being stormed. The lack of focus we feel is not surprising; we are like a general realizing that he is being attacked from all sides. Who wouldn’t feel the stress in such a situation, having to decide where to send the bulk of one’s army to mount a defense? Let us draw ourselves in instead. Each one of us is a potential fortress so long as we remember to keep our gates closed to uninvited guests. Just because we choose to remain at home (home as a place and idea) does not mean we should be considered as on the defensive to invading forces. Yes, we will defend ourselves but, oh, how much strength it takes to remain unconvinced!
Good hard-hitting commentary! I've missed reading for a little while, but I'm catching up. This one does an excellent job of getting the point across and makes one think. --hopefully to evaluate the propaganda and think for one's self.
