Within you, there are tribal conflicts—are there not? Who you are and where you mean to go—do you have decisive (meaning short and sweet) answers for each? More likely than not, if your consciousness is more than provisional, there are still differences of opinion fighting within you, an unresolved dissonance of a greater self.
A man whose formulations are worth anything in the end almost always first contains warring multitudes. It is only eventually (and with much effort) that these numerous factions assemble beneath a common banner (which isn’t to say they assume identical functions), if they ever do. It is not absolute standardization that is enforced but rather the successful organization of essential guiding principles to orient in the same general direction.
Then comes the challenge: to rally them further, faster, and stronger while simultaneously being guided by them. The greatest revolutions begin thus—when all that fights within you begin to coalesce to fight under you instead. Only then are you ready to expand into the outside world.
